Every safety feature on every plan
Every safety feature is free, at any fleet size. Team features, the audit log, webhooks and single sign-on, come with the first paid plan.
Rollouts and auto-pause
Release to a share of your devices and widen it on a schedule or by hand. A release whose failures cross your threshold pauses itself before most users see it.
Rollback on the device
An update that does not report ready in time rolls back on the device without your help. Everything else is one command or one click in the console.
Code signing
Sign every release with a key only you hold. The device verifies the bytes it downloaded before applying them, so nobody between you and your users can alter an update.
Only what changed
Devices download only the files that changed. React Native and Expo apps also receive a small patch of the main bundle when that is smaller than the file.
Updates that fit the build
Each update reaches only the app builds it fits, worked out from your native code. Nothing to bump by hand, no channel per native release.
Preview channels
Give every pull request its own channel with a QR code, test the change on a real device before merging, and let the pipeline remove it when the request closes.
How billing works
Three rules, each in one sentence.
- Monthly active device
- A device counts once per app the first time it checks for an update in a calendar month, UTC. Debug and test devices count too.
- Spending cap
- You set the cap, starting at $5 and up to $10,000. We warn at 80 percent and at 100 percent of it.
- Fail-open
- At the cap, devices keep the update they have and stop receiving new ones. Uploads and the console keep working.
